Les Ambassades de France et d’Allemagne partagent le 40^ème étage de la nouvelle tour  « Al Hamra ». Ce plateau de bureau offre une vue spectaculaire sur la péninsule de Koweït City.

L’espace centrale de réception, en face du Hall des ascenseurs, distribue clairement toutes les entités du projet. Alcôve en bois comprenant une zone d’attente confortable, cet espace d’accueil est travaillé avec soin pour répondre à la dimension de prestige et de représentation du programme.

Les bureaux sont répartis le long de la façade. Le cloisonnement vitré entre les bureaux et la circulation centrale permet de faire rentrer la lumière jusque vers le noyau de la tour. Ces éléments de partition intègrent des stores modulables dans l’épaisseur du vitrage, ils permettent l’occultation et la confidentialité selon les besoins de chaque utilisateur.

Une attention particulière a été portée au mobilier. Afin d’optimiser l’aménagement du bureau type de 12m², rangement et bureau sont rassemblés en une pièce unique, formant une épaisseur entre chaque bureau.

The French-German Embassy is located on the 40th floor of the new skyscraper “Al Hamra tower” offering a large view over Koweït City peninsula.

The central reception space is found in front of the elevator lobby and links all the project’s entities. This lobby is a wooden « alcove » with a waiting area and an outside view. It represents a warm welcoming and modern space as symbol for the French-German Embassy. 

The offices are located on the façade side, whereas the central corridor uses glazed partitions to offer some natural lighting into the shadier spaces next to the central core. These glazing partitions along the corridor are equipped with venetian blinds between two sheets of glass allowing each user to regulate the levels of sun shading and visual privacy.

A particular attention has been paid to furniture design. In order to optimize space for the 12 square meter type office, the desk and storage space are combined in one piece of furniture along the wall on one side.
